About the event

From October 9th through October 16th, 2021, the Xposed Gallery at the High Line park will present a collaborative art exhibition by two queer female artists, Carolina Fuentes aka Mila Tina (Chilean) and Svitlana Zavialova aka Wu Woman (Crimean). These two international artists joined together to present “Her Rhythm”, an art exhibition that explore movement and rhythm through the syntheses of film, video, and live performance to elevate and celebrate women.

Svitlana Zavialova is an international Martial arts Champion and performance artist that is known for creating a movement style and method-The Art of Cognitive Transmission of Martial Movement and Emotion, as well as her performance work on stage, film and TV.

Carolina Fuentes is an international innovative audio-visual producer and performance artist that combines drum percussion performance with dance and martial arts. She is also the creator of Drumanawé - drum and brain-based educational program.

Xposed is a non-commercial platform that subverts the distinction between the private and the public. With its multiple aquarium-like windows that give onto the High Line park and expose the “nudity” of the space by merging the overexposed beauty with wonder and transform the High Line by-passers into voyeurs.
